I drive mine every chance I get. When I go the the HQ in Herndon (VA), I drive the Vette. If I go to the client site in Crystal City (up/down I95) I drive the other car so I can pick up 'slugs' to facilitate the drive home in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes home. If I know I can leave before 230p, I also drive the Vette from Crystal City.
Daily driver.....first car I've used Zaino with. Much easier to keep looking good. I garage queened an 89 C4 and had lots of problems with it. Drive your vette and get FULL enjoyment out of it! I won't ever park another one.
My upcoming JSB 08 will be a DD.. Living here in the northeast, as long as there isn't snow or saly/sand on the roads, it'll be driven.. My 65 coupe on the other hand is only for spring/summer/fall..
Daily driver with 29,000+ miles in 18 months. I travel throughout Florida and South Georgia. Practically all those miles are interstate. Still on my orginal tires.
From: Currently somewhere in IL,IN,KY,TN,MO,AR,MS,AL, or FL
At least 43 miles every day, 7 days a week. That means sun, wind, fog, rain, snow, ice, and ijit drivers. If it starts it goes and it has never failed to start. The only pampering it gets is it gets to sit in a garage at the end of the day.
As far as snow and ice, a front wheel drive car does better in those conditions but traction control and anti-slip differential almost make it a close race.
I use mine as a DD. My wife has an 05 Volvo S60R (nice car btw, pretty quick, all wheel drive). I have 96 Jeep Cherokee as a winter snow vehicle. But when the snow if off the roads We'll take the Vette out any chance we get. Never could have my sports cars as garage queens. Why buy one if your never gonna drive it.

When I bought the C6 I had a Dodge Dakota that was my daily driver. It just kept bugging me to see the C6 siting when I should be enjoying it. I sold the Dakota and now the C6 is my one and only. I've hauled my lawn mower in it, fertilizer for the yard, and plants. It does great getting groceries and the ice cream never melts when you bring it home. The V6 Dakota was getting 17-18 with my typical driving the C6 is getting 21-22 with the same driving.
I didn't buy the car to be lawn art. It is my daily driver as well as my trip car of choice. 48k miles so far. I do have 3 trucks and 2 other cars I could drive, but since I bought the Corvette, they haven't seen nearly as much use.
Daily driver. However, when snow is on the road in subfreezing temperatures...I won't drive it. There is no way you can safely drive these cars during these conditions unless the road is plowed clean & well conditioned by the "Highway Department". That's rare around here during winter snowfalls. Even light flurries will become slippery very quickly here in subfreezing temperatures. You can't safely go up hill in these conditions.
