I actually love the C3 body style. I did not have the money then to buy one though, and don't have the skills to rebuild one now.

I agree. I find the shoulders to be more prominent from the drivers seat view than what it was with my C5.

Either way, a Corvette is a Corvette !

One can be just as proud of their C3 as I am of my C6. I feel fortunate I could afford the car I wanted but I realize many others aren't so fortunate. I don't 'scoff' at anyone because they might not be able to afford something. Someone's Yugo may be just as valuable to them as my Corvette is to me. My Corvette is as valuable to me as someone's Veyron is to them. It's all relative but no scoffing please.

Man just look at the responses to that jab. I ask a simple or not so simple question on the forum and hardly even get a reply. This must be a social thing????? Why you park way up in the woods with thang?

I have one of each. There are a lot of C3s that cost more then C6s.

Love the early C3's....IMO, some of the most beautiful Vettes out there.

Although I like C2's and every other generation as well, I do tire of the typical late 60's C2 owners that believe their Vettes were the best ever made or that "they're were no more vettes after 67" blah, blah, blah. And I also tire of the yearly 365 day Corvette Calendar showing pics of mainly the C1's and C2's with some C3's and C4's but only a handful of C5's and like 5 pics of a C6. However, the C6's owners days will surely come when we will dominate the calendars and mags.

South Florida is jam packed with rude people, however when I had my white C4 I would wave at C6s and most would wave back.

i wish i had a decent picture of mine to add to my earlier post. at the moment its in storage and the pics i had were under a messy carport and it was also very dusty, so for those guys who posted their C3 pic here is an interior view, i did a complete interior and exterior remake, it was dark blue exterior with doeskin interior,'79 year model, it is now the cadillac pearl called white diamond exterior, and you can see the interior for yourself. your gonna have to excuse the grass seeds and CD's on the seats, this was last fall...

Default C3

I also found myself thinking" this is like sitting in my 69" the first time I drove my C6. The fenders and the hood center section reminded me of some great rides, I still smile about the 69 roadster or 73 454 4 spd. No scoffing here.
