As mentioned above, there have been problems with the steering wheel position sensor wiring, a connector in the steering column gets pulled slightly loose and weird things happen. There is a bulletin out on this subject, the current fix is a clip that holds the connector together even if the wires pulled a little. Many dealers seem unable to understand the issue and the associated codes.
I'm not at all sure this is your problem, but it's worth checking...
I just got a call from the dealer. They were on the phone with Tech service and were told to put in a new Mail Computer (DTC I think) It will be in in the morning and I hope that fixes things. If not I will mention your comments.
Thanks for the help

The dealer just called and said it is an engine issue and that is what is making the Service Active Handling come on. They have two guys working on it and can't figure it out.
Well, took it to the dealer this morning at 7:00. They jumped right on it and thought they figured it out. They took a part off a Corvette in the showroom and put the part on mine and tried to reprogram the computer. Well now I'm driving a rental car and they haven't a clue. They are trying to talk to Tech service.
WTH? I know they are trying to service it quickly but I'll be damned if the way to do it is pull parts of a brand new vette and do the trial and error swap. There could be easily something wrong electrically with your vette which could end up frying those new swapped parts.
Are they pulling an engine out of a new vette and trying that too?

same happened to me,it was a steering wheel positioning switch/clip,good luck
Boy, these grease monkeys really get pissed when you suggest something. They can't fix it but won't try something different. If It isn't fixed today, I'm going to pick it up and go to a different dealer.
Well, the dealer claims the the Steering Wheel swich was not the problem but they still can't fix it. What a bummer. It's too bad my check has already cleared the bank.

I had this actual issue and the dealer fixed it....there was a TSB on it.
Well the dealership called and said they found the problem. There was a hole in one of the lines that has something to do with the fuel injectors. The sales guy that called me didn't know exactly what but said they would have the new part tomorrow and would show me the old part when I pick it up. Hope it fixes it. It has already spent one third of its life at the shop.
I shifted about 3500 RPMs, That's where the NPP's bark at ya. The service Mgr. said it was a small crack that looked like it was over tightened at the factory. Just my luck.
