Keep us posted. Can't figure how a crack in a line dealing with the fuel injectors results in message about active handling. But, would make sense considering it was running rough, ie vacuum leak, etc..
Well, they took the part off a Corvette in the show room and It didn't fix anything. They are going to call the Zone Mgr. this morning. You think I'm pissed, I'm calm compared to my wife.
I have a new 2009 with 1300 miles. Today I made a u-turn and got on it just a little bit and the Service Tracksion Control and Service Active Handling are alternating flashing on the DIC and it started running rough. I cut it off and restarted several times but it didn't help.
Does anyone have a fix?
I can appreciate the problem as I had that within the first 3 days of buying my 2008 back in February. In my case it did it on 2 occassions but cleared up after shuting down and restarting the car. After a second cycle of this it went away and hasn't returned since.
I am extremely upset that GM keeps ignoring this issue. It has been going on since, well apparently forever. Five model years and this car still exhibits many first year problems.
Well, here is the latest. They found Zero compression on the #4 cylinder. This only took four days. They are getting the Zone manager involved so should know something this afternoon. I told them new car or a check so we will see.

Good luck, man. Looks like the sensor was not the problem.
They should give you a new car if they can't fix it quickly.
Okay, I hope this is the last post on this. It turned out to be a broken valve spring on the #4 cylinder. New spring from BG and I'm back in business. The Eng. staff at BG wanted the broken spring so I didn't even get a to keep it. Any way, thanks for the help and concerns.
Man I was just getting ready to say "I'm sorry that this is happening to you. This is just like the dealerships that we have around here." Then I noticed where you are from.....I'm 30 minutes east of you. I see it IS the dealerships we have around here. Cracks me up when i hear people bitching about bad dealerships. Come visit some of the ones we have around here if you want to see what a bad service department is like. I am YET to find one that I feel is trustworthy.
I forgot to ask why the read out for active handling but will. I don't think the service dept. is that bad, just a weird thing. Tech support told them not to touch the engine at first they wanted the Eng.Dept. at BG to look at it.
I hope this whole deal is history.

I hope your problem is solved.
Even with all the NASCAR folks/drivers/owners/team guys there in NC??? That's pretty shocking. Don't some of the team owners, drivers own dealerships? hmmm...
Ya she is over it. I sold my C-4 Yesterday and that relieved alot of pain. I told the dealership they were screwing up a 35 year fairly sucsusful marriage,. She likes raising hell "drive it like you stole it" in the NC mountains. I pitty the guys with Vettes that live in the flatlands of America. They need to come run with us.
