Default I have a problem

I have a new 2009 with 1300 miles. Today I made a u-turn and got on it just a little bit and the Service Tracksion Control and Service Active Handling are alternating flashing on the DIC and it started running rough. I cut it off and restarted several times but it didn't help.
Does anyone have a fix?

It has been suggested that you disconnect the negative battery terminal to reset the computer, you will have to re-index your windows. If it still continues to display the messages I would take it in for a warranty repair.

Let us know if that takes care of the issue, as it would be good to know for future reference.

How long should the battery be disconnected? I left it unhooked for about five mins. and it didn't fix it. It did test my alarm system though. It kinda makes you jump when you are trying to hook it back up.

It didn't fix my DIC readout or the engine running bad. It didn't even want to start when I reconnected the battery. I'll worry about the windows later or the dealer can

I got that occasionally on my '05 and I get it on my '08. Annoying, but no big deal, unless you're racing. When shutting the car off doesn't solve the problem when I'm about to take a lap, I get pizzed.

'05 was worse than the '08 Z.

Well how did you fix it if disconnecting the battery didn't work?

I took my '06 in for it last year and was told there was some kind of recall for it? You'd think by now things like this would have been fixed...? The resident guru Talon90 would be of more help, I'm sure... He's the go to guy for stuff like this/ has helped many of us with problems like this. Shoot him a PM.

Well, I left the battery disconnected all night and hooked it back up this morning and it didn't fix anything. I had to reindex the windows (no big deal). I guess it's off to the dealer Tuesday morning.

Could be the steering wheel rotation sensor. Probably need to pull the codes to see what has happened.

Default Try this.

Disconnect whichever side of the battery is easier to get to. Before you do this, make sure ALL interior lights are off. Make sure there is NO underhood light on.You cannot have anything on, inside or out. With the cable disconnected, connect an old fashioned test light (has to be a filiment bulb, NOT LED) between the cable and battery post. Hold it there for 10 seconds. Hook the cable back up. Recheck your problem. This will drain any capacitors of all energy in the PCM. If this doesn't do it, battery reset will not help. It's hello dealer.

Well, took it to the dealer this morning at 7:00. They jumped right on it and thought they figured it out. They took a part off a Corvette in the showroom and put the part on mine and tried to reprogram the computer. Well now I'm driving a rental car and they haven't a clue. They are trying to talk to Tech service.

I'd say, it could be worse, but not by much. Hope they figure it out and tell you what it really was. When they do, tell us.

I have an 08. Still new to me and with warrenty. First thing I would do is take it to the dealer for them to fix it. It's not your job to figure these complex cars.
