The nannies kick in waaaaaaaay to late to help, IMO. By the time they start to work, I'm already reacting, and they just add another factor to compensate for.
Turn them off, and enjoy learning how to handle the car. What you learn at relatively low speeds may some day save your hide at freeway speeds (or higher, see avatar).
GYSCRF's are the worst cold traction tire I've ever encountered.
My new Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position runflats are just fine in the cold Colorado temps.
