Default Pulled over

Well I got pulled over today. Police was just finishing up with another car and as I passed came after me. He said it was for no front license plate but.... I dont think so. He only noticed that after he walked around to the front. Only got a warning but I think this is BS. Dont really want to put the plate on the front. Hmmm what to do what to do.

So what is your point. If in you state you are required to have a front plate, considered yourself lucky and thank the LEO for giving you a warning and not a summons. If you are not required to have a front plate, then he was wrong.

Sounds like he should have written the ticket. Even after cutting you a break, you feel the need to question his integrity? Really?

I put the plate on because they were looking for anything to write you up for. Seems like they slowed down now. I don't notice the plate after having it for a month or two.

I have a suggestion - invest in a removable front plate mount from “Top Flight”. I love mine – worth every penny – on/off in seconds – can’t see anything there when it’s off. I leave mine off, when I get pulled over – “oops, just finished detailing it and forgot to put the plate back, if you give me 30 seconds I will have it back on”- works every time.

Oh, and by the way, Top Flight is a Corvette Forum vendor.

Default Yo...

Buddy... how is that Venon & Killer Bee filter system doing?.... So I am in CA and we some how NEED a front plate... I have never felt the need and so far, it has not been an issue... but for fun... I put the Remote Control front plate on... mostly for laughs... it is fun to watch it come out of nowhere... PM me if you want one for cheap... Still makes me... and others laugh.

This is the best option if you want to put the front plate on. The way you're complaining, you would think the cop gave you a bs ticket but he let you go with a warning which means you don't really need to do anything. Only thing it cost you were a few minutes.

If your car had been stolen, you would be happy that he pulled the car over to check it out...even if he used the license plate issue as an excuse....

You only give officers a reason to pull you over..........if it's a law in your area, so be it!

I just bit the bullet and got the front license plate mounting bracket from Top Flight Reproductions. I also got the body colored frame which makes it look a little bit better.

I have the top flight removable bracket too. I'm very happy with it... I only take it off when I'm at the track.
