I think it's only been in the last week or two that the 2011 version became available for outside purchase. If I haven't posted back in a week, send me a PM.

I've had the factory Nav in my 06 and 07 and it works, but you have to read the User's Manual.
It has taken me safely on 450+ mile trips from my home into unknown territory and gotten me within a couple hundred feet of my destination. I'm not launching ICBM missiles.

I would like a NAV system be able to accurately get me within a 100 ft of my destination. I don't want to be within a 100 feet, or even a mile, of a ICBM's destination.
Last week I ordered the 2011 nav disc from the GM Nav Disc Center, got an email today that the disc has been shipped.
Normally, I update every 3 years (we have three cars with nav, so that means buy one disc per year). But my 2009 disc is missing a major stretch of Interstate that was added only five years ago
The 2011 disc is verified to have the new road.
Received new two-disc set in today's mail.

Works normally, after each disc has been in place for about a minute.

This would be major league early compared to past years. January or February has been the norm.
