True but I haven't seen a test where the Zxx or GS ran slower than a base car in the slalom.
GTFO. The GrandSport kicked the crap out of both cars at the track and the '11 GS was even better. THe Porsche won because of C/D's normal bias towards steering feel and interiors. Don't make things up.
I don't think the fenders make much of a difference. The Corvette is wide car in any form. Learn how to drive one and it really doesn't matter.

Per specs on the Chevrolet website the differences in weight between the Corvette and Corvette GS in 4LT are as follows:
Corvette coupe GS---3311

103 lbs. diff
Corvette conv GS----3289

68 lbs. diff
The GS's are way cool thats why I ordered one and have a 10/19 appointment at NCM.
