Knowing GM, I'd say nothing more than an optional $4000 dealer installed decal package. I'm sure there is some no name on the assembly line that they can get to sign it and call it a "special edition"!
Hard to say what GM will do with the Vette in 2012. I would not be surprised if the Z06 goes away. Given the very low production and the fact that it's the only Vette using the 7.0L engine it would only make sense. They could offer an optional supercharged engine in the GS that's already used in the CTS-V instead. My guess is the C7 is a lock for 2013 since that's the 60th anniv of the Corvette and I doubt GM would miss the opportunity to build a "special" edition new body style Corvette to commemorate the occasion.

Not expecting much in the way of changes for '12 - except for the price increase mentioned by Tom/99. On the other hand, if the C7 is to debut in '13, as suggested by others, there may be some special treatment for the last year of the C6 like special paint or graphics versions, and who knows (?) Chevy has a history of pumping up the power on the last year of a generation (e.g. the '96 C4 with the LT5 engine - Grand Sport edition, etc.).
FYI: According to the March 2011 edition of Car & Driver, article entitled "Taking Stock in GM:" "2013 Chevrolet Corvette (C7) - The Corvette continues as front engine, V8 powered, but GM is reportedly working to reduce mass (or at least hold the line) to maintain C6 performance. Slightly longer than before, the C7 will have styling allegedly inspired by the split window "63 Sting Ray. Interior quality, not a Corvette strength, is now a high priority, and GM has set Audi as the benchmark for materials and fits..." "...later, all three engines will undergo displacement reductions to improve fuel economy." Maybe not what you were hoping to hear, but this info is from Car & Driver, not me. Don't kill the messenger.
I'd say, yes, no '13 model is a possibility. But since they've only done it once before in an almost 60 year history for the model, it may be a long shot.
According the the Aztecs 2012 is the final year for everything! But yeah, I think we will see some interior modifications/upgrades as they test out things for the C7.
The itinerary for the Bash this year has a "special Corvette unveiling" on Friday morning. If this is the last year for the C6, my bet is a Skunk Edition of the GS (Lemans Blue with a white stripe, red hash marks, and a red interior).....oh yeah. A few extra horses would push me over the edge, I'd have to trade the 2011 GS. They do it to me every year.

You mean like they did for the 50th anniversary.....oh, wait.....they just offered an ugly brownish color for that anniversary
ooops, didn't see the post above this one before I posted.
What will be new for the upcoming model year? Color, horsepower, new accessories, upgrades, standard features included? What? What? What? I'll go mad waiting!

I don't think they will hit that. You can't just go from Kia to Audi in 1 year. If they DO hit that, I will be HIGHLY impressed. I think they can get close, though.

I agree, Audi would be a great quality mark to hit. I think they could do it. I had an Audi TT vert for a while and it was very well done, tho there really was no realistic cup holder which was a real pain.

The interior of the current car is really not all that bad. The biggest complaint most folks have is not the overall interior, but the seats.
