I have a CTS Coupe on order, should be in around the middle of march.
I replaced my 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe with the Caddie as my dd.
I didn't get the V because I want the gas mileage, and 27 MPG on regular is alot better than 18 MPG on premium.
And honestly I don't need 556Hp to cruise on the freeway. If I get the itch to go fast there's 505 quicker HP just waiting for me.
I bought a 2011 Chevy Equinox in December to replace my dying PT Cruiser. I needed something that was relatively inexpensive, had front wheel or all wheel drive for snow, could support my trips to Home Depot, had a bit of style, and was not too "Soccer-Mom-ish." There are a variety of trim levels available and either a 4 cylinder (my choice) or 6cylinder. It works for me. I really wanted to get a Jeep, but the reviews of their unreliablity plus local mechanics' opinions disuaded me.
I can DD my vette almost every day of the year here in San Diego. However I choose to drive my 88 toyota beater truck most days. I like to keep the miles off her and it saves wear and tear in general.
Mine is a supercharged daily driver. With that kind of performance and good weather in northern California, it is hard to consider getting in any other car and making the daily commute. Lots of fun mile after mile.
Are you kidding? I bought my '05 Z-51 AT-4 with 18K miles in DEC 2005, and it just clicked 92K miles. I drive 50 miles/day RT in Phoenix and use the Vette for all other driving as well, including cross-country road trips with the "Soul Mate", even though she's on her 10th free Mary Kay car.
I've never owned a Vette, and just short of 100K miles, will never sell one either! The car gets 25 MPG hiway and 21 MPG city and "Hauls ***"! I just replaced my Firestone Run Flats that had 50K miles with tread bar left and will buy my next set at 150K miles.
If that isn't enough, I purchased an after market 5 year/100K miles, zero deductible warranty at 48K miles for $2,400. With 8K miles or 1 year left, have collected $500 for an alternator and $1,000 for an AT shifting sensor. The car just doesn't break!
Yeah, would have to fit a snow plow to do DD duty in Ohio. Use my 300C AWD for the DD. The HEMI gives me a little of what I miss in the Vette.
Praying for top off weather!
coop
hey i grew up in northern indiana. ive been to antartica and kuwait. i would rather be hot than cold thats why i live in houston I HATE BEING COLD. plus i can have a vette for dd
