You do what I do, put your fob on a lanyard, then put it around your neck. Never leave it in the car again. Once I arrive I then loop lock ito a belt loop. The biggest reason I use a lanyard is, when the fob is in the pocket, the rear deck opens, or the horn goes off due to coins puching buttons. Never happens on a lanyard. No, ther are no additional keys....I hate KEYS and key chains!!

I simply disabled the auto lock feature through the DIC settings. I always keep the fob in my pocket. I do have to manually push the lock button on fob but I do not have to push the unlock button to enter. I just walk up to the car and press the door pad.
My reason for disabling the auto lock feature has a funny story to go with it. When I first bought the car I set it to auto lock. One day I parked under a tree with the top down and went to check on some things while my wife waited in the car.
Of course it locked and unbeknown to me there was a snake dangling off of a branch above the car. My wife saw it and went to make her escape when she realised the door was locked. She knew enough to pop the "ejection handle" and bail. Of course the alarm went off so I came running back to get an earful. The auto lock has been disabled since.
