Rather than blowing a smart fuse, I bought one on eBay for about $20. It has worked well and I didn't get junk in my eyes like I did with adding the transmission mounted unit to our CTS-V. Much easier.

Put a CAGS eliminator a days after I broght the car home from the dealership. That and pulled the NPP fuse.

I installed the CAGS eliminator in the first month I owned the car. It takes 1 minute once you get the car lifted and has been trouble free ever since. Best $20 I've spent.
