Not diggin those rear fenders. A little too extreme for my taste. Love the rest of it though.

Looks like an 11 year old's idea of "the car of the future." Too bubbly for me.

I was expecting to see a scantily-clad female in this thread. Then I remembered it's a Corvette forum.

Yes, just because some is good (regular wide-body) doesn't necessarily mean that more is better.

But the color and wheels are great!

Not my thing, the flared fenders are way over-kill, that diffuser too.

Tragically, years of exposure to a myriad of detailing elixirs have dulled the senses of many.

More like a conversation piece, than a car I'd like to own.

It did bring back memories though. Love Candy Apple Red.
When I was a kid, my dream car was the 1962 Candy Apple Red Impala dual quad, 425hp, 409cu. Don't know how many of you folks remember that far back?

Growing up, we all either had a rich friend, or knew of a rich kid in the neighborhood.
I remember being insanely jealous when a friend of mine, was given that '62 409 in Candy Apple Red, for his 17th birthday, when he graduated H.S.

If memory serves, that car with the 409 block, and Super Sport option cost around $2,800!
Man, you had to be rich to afford that!

That is a pretty corvette, we think. Would like to see some more photos from other angles.

Hameister: we well remember the '62 Impala. Had a friend with a '64 Impala SS w/the 327 and the two speed auto (think they called it a "torqueflight?") trans. We thought it was the most beautiful automobile we had ever seen. But nearly $3K. There was not that much money in the entire world...

We trudge on.

It's really just a base coat metallic, then color, and topped with clear.

Yet for some reason, it's always considered an exotic, expensive, color.

Disagree. You can get a 1000.00 paint job or a 6,000.00 paint job. There is a difference in how they turn out.
