Pretty political, huh?
I guess I'm dense but I'll be damned if I know what you just said.

Cliff notes....

Everyone has the right to say something stupid

Everyone has the right to say that was stupid

If it hurts your feelings, too bad.

Also ... if you ask for opinions, you're going to get them so don't get upset when you do.

Well, why didn't he just say that instead of all that obfuscation?

The GS fenders get a bit used to but i think, IMHO, if you swap out the chrome GS fender badges for black ones, it will blend it better

I like the Z fenders too but i wouldn't swap my GS for Z fenders. If i ever did swap out my GS fenders, it would be for ZR1 fenders.

I honestly think if you removed the badge and blended the top of the gills to match the bottom, it would look fantastic.

Love my gills. Love my Grand Sport badges. Love the fact that others don't.

Once they offered them in black and aftermarket in CF I like them.

Who are you, Johnny Cash? Black wheels are enough ugly on a vette. You don't need to come up with new ways to uglify it ok Morticia?

The gills remind me of the ports on the hood of old Buicks. The more they had the better the car. #GS Roadmaster

yea the gills if that is what you would like to call them are fugly but I like the wide fenders. GS guys are very sensitive about their cars.
I really cannot stand the ones on the C7, looks like GM thugged them up.

I like black wheels, so bear with me; The problem is that you can't see black wheels. For the most part, they all do seem to look the same, a dark nothingness x2 on each side.

The successful ones are the ones that have some "pop factor". It could be a colorful caliper, or a stripe on the edge. or some other contrasting element.

Just pokin' the bear. You are right though. The only black wheels that I have thought looked good are the ones with a polished or chrome lip. It gives the wheel some contrast as you said.
