Some rally racing but mostly the Score Series.
Don't let the grumps get to you. Nobody is ragging on them for driving their car under 2500 rpm all day but some feel they should be able to call others names for pushing the car a little. Harmless donuts at the end of an empty cu de sac is not hurting anything but your tires. Look into local auto crosses if you are inclined. Lots of fun. You are just racing against yourself and all you can hit is a cone or three. We have a few here in the Inland Empire.
Come by Rotolo Chevrolet Saturday night (5:00_8:00) for the monthly car show. Just about 20 minutes from Corona. See you on the 91!!
You know I really take offense to this. Pretty rude of both of you knuckleheads to insult me. I’m a very responsible driver. I don’t “race” around acting like a ******* thinking I’m cool. I already know I’m cool so I have nothing to prove to anyone.

Perhaps you could explain what the point of doing "donuts" is? Seems like a great way to ruin tires and put unnecessary stress on the car's frame and suspension. It also appears to provide the added opportunity of sliding your car into something and doing great damage. Why is essentially getting out of control such a great thing? IIRC, it is a form of "sport" developed around the idiots who take their pitiful little egos and their pitiful little Hondas to the street to burn rubber the only way they are able to.
Go buy a Civic & at hurting the frame & suspension.

I didn't intend to insult you. I'm just naturally overprotective when it comes to young ladies. My two daughters 48 and 51 and my 7 granddaughters ages 28 to 12 will vouch for that.
All but the 12 year old (obviously) are driving and I would have the same reaction if one of them got a kick out burning rubber and doing doughnuts.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say your Daughters/Granddaughters most likely do not own a Corvette…??
I'm only 74, but from the time I got my license, the first snow of the year meant donut driving lesson time. Intentional slide and recover was the best learning experience that saved my butt many times on dry roads too.
I live in the Phoenix area now, but anytime I travel into snow, the empty parking lot is there for my refresher course. I highly recommend it when using a rental car, just to quickly familiarize yourself with limitations in emergency situations, even on dry pavement. After all, the tire wear is included in the rental price.
When did this thread turn into let's play daddy & post pics of our kids?
She's an adult & I bet she already has a father. We already know she has a husband.

Yikes! Driving a Corvette in the snow is not something I would want to do. I had to drive home in the pouring rain the other day with bald tires, let's just say I officially had my *** chewed out by my Husband.
I did learn a lesson, Corvettes are not made for rain, so I guarantee snow would be a big NO!
