What are you guys paying to have your windows tinted?? I got quoted $300. Seems a little high. It is one piece back tint though no cuts. Also has anyone tinted their glass roof to cut down the sun??

I wanted to darken the underside of my roof as well but was told window tint would not adhere to the acrylic roof panels. Fortunately there is a headliner made for these that will keep the sun out...attaches via suction cups from what I have read.
take a look at what some people got for a tint job, a sea of bubbles, I'm always shocked at what the people say too... he said the bubbles are normal, I paid $250 for just the back window, he painted the black lines around the outside of the window and ten years later you can't tell it was a tint job, looks like it came from the factory this way. you get what you pay for, go ahead DIY and save the $
I paid about $300 for Formula One Pinnacle which is ceramic. I have it on all 4 of our cars. The shop I use in Nashville has been in business since 1975 and only does legal tint with a lifetime warranty.
$300 for just the back window in SoCal. Ceramic tint and no bubbles. Like CMYSIX said, there are some really lousy tint jobs on Vette rear windows. I wouldn't go with the cheapest price. Find a good guy who can show you his work and pay what he wants.
All I know for sure is that its film by Solar Gard with a life time warranty, 35% which is Arizona legal.
I've had black out tint and except for the look it is terrible to drive with, nite time impossible but then I'm old and eyes are also
I wasn't really completely satisfied with his work but what could I do, its passable so I live with it, the dot matrix is hard to do.

Same, I believe it was $300. Talking with some tint guys, the C6 back window is the nightmare of the industry. The little black dots across the top are next to impossible to seal.
Not satisfied with my back window, but after attending numerous cars coffees and seeing several dozen tints, mine is about average. Once in a great while I see a perfect one.

400 for my 98 but that was stripping the old tint and I had all windows and the windshield done. I wasn't happy with the rear hatch, they said the bubbles are just going to be there and offered to vinyl wrap that part. My c6 came tinted but whoever tinted the rear hatch did a great job!
Right after buying it in 2006, paid $200 to have side windows, rear hatch and strip across the top of the windshield done ... I'm sure prices have gone up since then

What the hell hasn't GONE UP Welker ???
I admit I'm a cheapskate so I check prices and the inflated prices I see nowadays is unbelievable.
Like yesterday I need 4 plastic push pin panel retainers for 1/4" hole, the ones with the popup pin in the middle so that they can be removed, like Chevy uses a lot of on our Corvettes.
Anyways after finding them I had to buy 2 packages of 3, when I went to pay the guys says they are pricey little buggers, $9.25
But yet the COLA for SS recipients has been zero for the past 3-4 years because Obozo says "No Inflation" so not needed
Rant over
