And that's cool if you do...the more reason I look for the secluded spot at the back of the parking lot...IT'S FRIDAY!!
Sorry, wrong. Mine has never seen an auto car wash.. I do it myslef. 3 bucket method. Garage kept asnd covered. It is just a car. maybe a special car, but just the same a car. It drives me crazy when members have to continue to bring up the parking lot rant. I understand, but this topic is a regular. We will see a new post within a few weeks (if not sooner) about the same thing. I will continue to say, if you are that worried, don't take it to a public parking lot. Also if you do park way out you are simply drawing attention to you and the car and some A hole will do exactly what the complaints are about. Don't you think they do it just to P you off.
I don't really care yo take mine to the mall or other busy places, but if I do, I try and find a space that is at the end of the parking section, so I only worry about one side, but if nothing is available I will park between two cars. To this day I have no door dings.

Considering the number of smiles Corvette ownership has given me, I'd have to disagree and say Corvette ownership is pretty F'n special.

Personally I have worked hard for the vehicles and things I have and I like to keep them nice. Some others don’t have that kind of pride in their vehicles and to each their own but stay away from my damn Corvette when I park out in the boonies. There is a reason I’m that far out in a parking lot.

I was in Bowling Green, Ky (NCM) and eating at a restaurant. I noticed a POS car parked next to me. The lady driving the POS car must have noticed because she came up to me an said, "I'm sorry I parked next to you but you have a 'vette. I'm just trying to help you protect it."

Ever since I've followed that example. If you are in the Atlanta area and a ugly never washed black POS pulls in next to you just smile. I did not put a door nick in your car and I'm just keeping others away.

Pay it forward.

As I stated earlier, I have no problem with anyone with any type of car wanting to keep it looking nice. I baby mine when it come to appearance. What I am saying is two things, one if you are so concerned about someone parking next to you don't take the Corvette to those places. Second, this topic is on here every couple of weeks. I think we all know there are those that park way out and then there are those that see the Corvette and will park next to it. We get the picture.
