First off, THANK YOU to Jim for writing the evaluation and comparison! Makes me think keeping my C6 for the long haul that much easier.

Would have to at least match HP on a C7, so that puts me into Z06 range, and I prefer NA engines so that eliminates that.

thanx for the write up... I'm ok with the C7 and understand its a great car, but like you the seats up by the shoulders didn't work for me.. surprised the worked for you after some time..

Thanks for the detailed review. Ive test driven the C7 twice. The Coupe when they came out and a vert in May this year. The wife insisted we stay with a C6 and she fell in love with the ZR1 at the Hot Springs Corvette show. I had to make her happy...bought our third C6 in May. Will probably keep it awhile.

Thanks for the write-up rkj! I'm driving down from Bend Oregon, since Google pegs it at 9.5 hours on the 95-305-376 route. Should be interesting. I'll also be driving our brand new Yukon Denali, currently with 350 miles on it. Should be a good shake down cruise and a bit slow as it isn't broken in yet. Im jealous Hoxxy is headed to Bonneville, they'll be time once I get the house done.
