Jacking point
I know the four lifting points on the sides are primarily for a professional lift. However, can you put a jack under just one of them to remove one tire at a time?

Yes, that's what they are for.

You can put a jack under one of them and lift that whole side of the car.

Absolutely...but some people suggest that keeping the doors closed is a good idea.

The frame is pretty stiff on these cars so you can use either the front or rear shipping lock location to lift the entire side of the car. Be sure to use some sort of puck though, you don't want the jack to touch the rocker panel, it will crack and is costly to repair.

If someone has a pic of the bottom of the car showing where the jacking points are, I'd appreciate if they could post it.

Interesting. I had heard just the opposite. Makes me wonder. Having the doors, hood, and hatch open I mean.

This applies to older Vette's, but modern ones have a full frame that is rigid enough to make this unnecessary.

No need to worry about closing or opening doors when jacking up a C6 Corvette, the frame is seriously stiff & you can open & close your doors at will

They didn't have the frame rails like modern ones do, no, and had a lot of flex to the body. Iirc, the C4 was the first generation with full frame rails.
