Personally don't like the Morimoto headlights - makes a C6 look like a C7 wanna-be. C7s are nice (I park next to one at work), but we have a C6 for a reason.
I opted for brighter HIDs, LED high beams, and VLEDs V6 Extreme White Amber Switchback 3157s. Keeps the classic look.
Get the Morimotos and enjoy the brighter modern look. A C6 owner doesn't have to worry about losing their "look" since its body style can never be confused with a C7. By the way, REAL Classic looks belong to C3s and earlier
Nothing says white boomer like "ricer" and "cheap Chinese parts"... "Ricer" was a derogatory term I think I last heard in the late '90s and meant adding parts that weren't functional. Considering the Morimoto headlights function better than the OEM headlights, the term obviously doesn't apply.
As far as cheap Chinese parts, the lights appear to be as well made as the OEM units.
The lenses are definitely higher quality than OEM units, and the light output is better. So...I'll take my higher-quality, better functioning lights over OEM.
Appearance is subjective.
Nothing says white millennial like an arrogant tirade directed at those who dare to have a differing opinion.
Appearance absolutely is subjective. Lots of options, do what you want on your car because you like it. If others like it, fine. If they don't, who cares? Some people like the Eric Cartman look, others like the insect face OEMs. So what, it's all good. Let's stop the silly bickering and enjoy our Corvettes.
Inconvenient Truth: Morimoto headlights do NOT put out more useable light than the OEM headlights. This was measured years ago with light meters in a side by side comparison test. Search it.
Of course, that's only valid when comparing both headlights in new condition. By the time most OEM headlights are replaced, the lenses, reflectors, and bulbs are past their prime. So any new headlight is an improvement.

Not a millennial, nor did my post meet the definition of a "tirade". I have both sets of lights, & my oems have new lenses & ballasts. I was debating switching back to the oems, but the Morimotos were brighter & had a better cutoff than the oems. I left the Morimotos in the car and put the oems back in storage.

I love all 3 styles but i have to ask "Eric Cartman" look? I'm not seeing it lol, I need a visual.
edit: scrolled up and saw the post... still not seeing it lol
I had both Morimoto headlights and tail lights on my car. My OEM headlights had PPF put on them by the first owner long ago and are still perfect.
The Morimoto headlights were on my car for precisely 10 seconds before I removed them. I absolutely hated the look. Sent them back.
The tail lights were on my car for a few months, and I was always at war with myself if they looked right. Not to mention them going entirely black if you tapped the brake too fast at night.
I eventually removed them and sold them, went back to stock. Best decision ever. I currently have the Morimoto side markers, and a black badge overlay. I don't need anything else.
To each their own, but trying to "modernize" a C6 just makes it worse.

Couldn't agree more! I think those headlights look stupid on a C6.
To the OP: If the reason is crazed or fogged C6 lights you might consider just replacing the lenses. Just did mine and they came out like new. Member RLSebring on this site sells the complete kit for around $400. Bit of a project but you can do it yourself.
Has any one converted to the Morimoto headlights and were they worth it? Does anyone have another brand that is better or cheaper. I think I am going to buy the Morimoto's but I always check with the forum before making such a purchase.
Thanks
