To late, they pulled them--have to check at digital
No one pulled anything down. Might just be too much traffic. I added a link to the pictures for those with a red X.

Why the heck is the Corvette's steering wheel the same as the Malibu??? Okay it's not the same but it looks almost like it, it looks, ugly, if they replace that then the interior would look much better.

I would have rather have something similar to the CTS-V

That's a much better steering wheel.

OMG guys (and ladies), I'm going nuts!!!
It's beautiful!!! (sans steering wheel-minor detail and may be nicer in person)
I'm jumping all over the place! I need to re-fi the house and take some money out! $47,000! :smash:  :hurray:
I really was expecting $60K
This is a bargain, I just have to resist all the options.

PS Those door sills ARE very wide, as seen in the spy shots

Is that the new Viper? JMHO, but a quick glance at that front end says "Viper." I'm sure I'll grow to love it as a Vette, but I'm having a greater appreciation for my 03. I can't believe there have been no comments on the mechanicals so far.....400 hp and a 4 speed auto. It makes me wonder whether there will really be a 500hp Z. People have already been ripping the C5 for a 4 speed auto. As for that interior, those materials better feel mighty fine to the touch, because the aesthetics are nothing to write home about. Again, JMHO!

The more I look at it, the more I like it. I love the look from the back, and the front is nice, although I miss the flip-up headlights. Overall, the styling is a vast improvement over the C5 because it looks tighter and leaner, and not as hugely ponderous as the C5. I don't care for the steering wheel...four gigantic spokes that look like tree stumps. Also, anodized aluminum, in a Corvette? It just doesn't look right.

OK guys, I'm a brand new member here so please go easy on me. I just saw the new Auto World & Motor Trend shots of the C6 and I have to say that I'm a little disappointed. I know that may not be the popular opinion here, but I've owned Corvettes for many years now and I've never been as letdown by a new body style as I am by this one. There are several things that bother me about the new styling of the car: the headlights look like they were taken right off the front of a 3000GT, the wheels are almost exactly the same as the C5 wheels, the rear end is very odd looking and looks almost like a re-styled 1984-1990 'Vette, I don't like the location of the back-up lights or the 3rd brake light and the fact that they look like they're covered in cheap plastic, the interior is not nearly as improved and upscale as I was expecting--especially with that brutally ugly steering wheel(WTF?) and I'm just not impressed with the overall styling that seems to be a mixture of Viper, RX-8 and even a little Camaro in the front. I'd heard that the front end appearance was going to be similar to that of a Ferrari 360 Modena, but after seeing the new pics I don't see any Ferrari at all in this car. Believe me, I really wanted to like the C6 and I was already making plans to sell my C5 to make room for the new 'Vette. However, now I'm seriously rethinking that position and I may not go for the new model after all. I realize that sometimes pictures don't do a car justice and that you really need to see a vehicle up close and personal to get a good read on it, but for now I am very disappointed in what I'm seeing. Sorry if that offends anyone, but that's just how I feel right now.

It appears the only haters are C5ers  No surprise. Anyway, I think it looks great. My only thing is the plastic on the back near the third brake light and reverse lights. Other than that, very happy.

Thanks Hoosier. I was afraid I would get blasted by everyone on here for voicing a negative opinion, but I had to say how I really felt after seeing these pics. Maybe the styling will grow on me in time, but I've always warmed up to the new designs immediately upon seeing them and for the first time I'm a little upset with the new look of the Corvette. I see a lot of problems with the design and overall it just doesn't look like right to me. As for being a hater just because I'm a C5 owner, that really has nothing to do with it as I was ready to put my C5 up for sale to buy a C6. I was fully expecting to love the new design and unfortunately that is not the case. I'm glad many people here are happy with the look, but I can't help but feel disappointed in the somewhat lackluster design inside and out.
