thanks!!! I am desperately searching for an answer on this forum... help is appreciated!!!
If you have radio controls, as I did, on your current steering wheel, it's a direct replacement. I've read that if you don't have any controls you have to reuse the connector from the old wheel. I have no experience with the latter. I'd guess there will be wires to splice probably just the horn. Don't know about the paddle shift either, as mine is a M6.

Many on here said the old wheel just pulled off by hand, mine did not.

Thanks for the reply, this confirmed me that I would not have to buy a new clock spring...
After all I will find out this week. And regarding the steering wheel hopefuly I wont be in the same boat regarding pulling the steering wheel off

Thanks!

Forgot, as I understand it, only 05s need replacement clock springs.

No big deal if you need to use a puller. You'll just need the little arms to hook the old wheel. Not screw in bolts that I've seem previously.

It looks likw that new clock spring was required only for 2005,06, and early 2007s... I will find out if I am one of the lucky ones that has early 2007 production....

My 2007 Z06 was built in 08/2006, didn't need a clock spring.

Not the greatest steering wheel out there, but you can get it for about $200 shipped brand new. I've had mine a few days and it's already well worth it.
Is there a size difference in the 2012 wheels like this from the older ones?

Hello all!
This topic may have been beaten to death, but I still have questions, hopefully somebody that has gone through this already can give a clear answer.
I have a 2006 C6 Z06, with the ugly stock Cobalt wheel. No controls, simple wheel. I'm interested in purchasing a stock 2013 wheel. What should i know? what parts are needed? Any recommendations?
Thanks!

That's gorgeous. Totally transforms the interior. How much was that?

I replaced my 2007 wheel with a 2012. Mine had radio controls only and no other parts were required.
I don't recall seeing any later steering wheels with no controls.
