Default Cartek Presents HPE Direct Drive SC Kits for C5 & C6

Cartek is proud to present HPE's Direct Drive SC Kits for the C5 & C6 Corvette.

Billet CNC construction along with alignment dowels on plates and stand-offs for precise placement and prevents part shifting under load. Increases belt alignment precision under load. HPE's superchargers kits provide easy installation with unparalleled performance and quality. Each kit is 6 rib, 8 rib, and cog belt ready. No need to upgrade parts when you increase power output! in conjunction with HPE's supercharger kit the patented flip drive technology allows zero belt slip at higher boost levels. The finite analysis has proven 26 + lbs of boost on a 8 rib setup. As well as 21 + lbs with a 6 rib configuration. HPE allows maximum performance without having to convert your corvette to a manual rack and no need for alternator relocation kits that go in place of the AC compressor. HPE kits with the attribute of the "flip-drive" allow all accessories to be in its original OEM location without sacrificing air conditioning and power steering. The "flip-drive" system impoves belt life, increases power capabilities far above any serpentine-based SC system available, improves efficiency (no loss of energy through flexing accessory brackets or over loaded accessory bearings), and extended accessory life by separating the accessories from the blower (alternator, power steering pump, supporting brackets, etc).

HPE's intercooler is a bar and plate design that is positioned with the maximum separation between the intercooler and radiator, providing superior operation in warm climates resulting in lower inlet air temperatures (IAT's). Also, HPE's intercooler has a ram air design and ducting to retain stock functionality of the AC condenser and radiator.

Here is a list of some of the features:
+ Includes HPE Flip Drive Kit
+ Zero belt slip system – More belt wrap than any other kit on the market for the C5 and C6 Corvette
+ Pulley and belt changes without removing the blower
+ Switch from 6 to 8 rib belt configuration without switch brackets or even removing the blower!
+ Cog drive ready
+ Manual tensioner for ease of belt installation
+ Dowel inter-locking system for improved rigidity
+ Configurations available for both ProCharger and Vortech head units
+ Aluminum 6061 CNC Billet Construction on brackets and belt tensioning assemblies
+ Pulleys hard anodized for longevity
+ Large single high efficiency front mount intercooler
+ Ram air ducting for intercooler
+ Fully enclosed shrouding for radiator fro improved cooling efficiency
+ Billet high performance blow-off/by-pass valve
+ Stainless Steel bolts
+ Includes fuel system upgrade
+ Starter tune included
+ Instructions, belts, and miscellaneous parts included – Basically a complete kit

Pricing for complete kits will start at $6,295.

At Corvettes of Carlisle Show next week Cartek Performance Engineering will be raffling off an HPE Flip Drive kit for either C5 or C6. You must stop by our tent in order to participate in the raffle. So stop by and visit us in manufacturers midway to see our complete line of HPE SC kits.

More videos, pictures, dyno graphs, test data/results, etc over the next few weeks. So stay tuned.

The first and last SC kit you will ever need to buy. From a simple bolt on to all out race/hardcore car without the need to sacrifice what makes your car a street car!

belt wrap on the blower looks good, but not much on the water pump. Looks like it would slip easily?

With a elec water pump, the S/C belt can break and the car will still run fine to get home. It looks well thought through.

You will need a blower setup... it's just for the flip drive kit. Sorry if it sounded confusing. You would really fly with a blower setup though

Andy

I will try and get that for you soon.

No the flip drive is not included, this setup looks like it would rock with a F1R head unit
