Not really... I did go through the end at Muncie once a few years ago, but that was more not knowing where the track ended... Since then I have used the chute even when it wasn't needed... better safe than sorry.
57lbs is what we lost on the brakes... we didn't us a Corvette "kit"
We are actually running Kurt's fuel pump and his MSD front drive distributer setup... the 16v is more to make all the pumps move more of whatever they move (if they are electric) more consistant stable power, and most of the race electronics that we will be running were designed around 16v systems. It is just a better more stable system and can be run without an alternator (although we will be running one)
Sounds like a cool build. 200mph in the 1/4 will be moving for sure. I'd like to hit that number this year myself.

More goodies showed up at the shop today... my 9" kit is all here now, new Torque tube, and the new TH400.
All of it showed up on a pallet today from RPM Transmissions. Can't wait to see it all in the car.

The pics above are just mock up cases, the final product will look much better and not use a bellhousing/pump adapter but have a one piece billet bellhousing.

Well, the 9" is all fabbed in and looks like it fits... as if there was ever any doubt. The guys at RPM Transmissions come through once again and put together a great new setup! Tom and I left the shop at about 9:45 tonight and everything was pretty much mocked up. Now we just have to ship everything back to RPM and let them put all the goodies on the inside so we can put the setup in for good!
Thanks RPM Transmissions for all the great products and I can't wait to put them to the test.
More pics comming soon as we ad in the new Drive Shaft Shop axles and drive shaft.

Just ordered my Aluminum Bolt Together converter from Neil Chance converters... should be here next week!
We have the turbos mounted in the car and are building tubing now.
The Dry sump tank came in from Peterson today... that is ready to be mounted now as well.
Looking good, still a lot of work to do, but we are going to try like hell to make it to Bradenton in March.
