Default What's the Latest and Greatest Fuel system for a C6 Z06.

So what's new in fuel system department for a C6Z06. Something easy to install and no headaches down the road.

I am no expert but I think if I upgrade I would look at this...

http://aeromotiveinc.com/2010/08/cor...tealth-system/

I like that its just a drop in replacement. Curious to hear what the experts say.

How much HP? The ESC Stage 1 seems pretty easy and is working for a lot of people. There is supposed to be a ~800whp limit though.

Man fuel systems seem like Clutches lately. I've seen plenty of problems with lots of them.

Well a HP range would be better to make a recomendation on etc... Tayor's system seems like its real nice I know Billy (Tollwaybandit) kept telling me that it was worth the money and all the lines are already the perfect length according to him etc...

I figured he might be looking at more power than that, but like you mentioned about fuel system issues, that's the one solution I've seen that seems reliable from all the problems I see posted up.

I haven't installed one myself yet so I am just going off of what a few others have told me about. My car has an ECS system on it and while I haven't taken it all the way apart I can't say anything bad about it yet. I called them to verify what kinda HP it would support and the one I have is supposed to hold about 1200hp.

Hey buddy...

Our fuel system above will support 800 RWHP. We can also build a fuel system with dual pumps that will support 1000+ RWHP.

No need to drop the tank with our kit, or cut a ginormous hole in the back of the tank. Also an adjustable hobbs switch kicks the big pump(s) on under boost.

I kept it simple with an RSI system I call Stage 1.5, dual Walbro 341s, an Aeromotive FPR and using stock fuel lines. Also, two hobbs switches in parallel to control one of the 341s for boost.

I would stick with a system that uses the stock intank pump under normal driving and utilizes a large external under boost.

Stock reliability and you have to drop the tanks for most of them anyway...

I went with dual walbro's intank and wish I would have done otherwise.

I strongly feel the Walbro's need to be replaced every two years to keep them pumping up to their max operating potential, if one does fail it is hard to diagnose, and if one does fail you have to drop the tank to replace it.

With an external it only runs under boost and it is very easy to test and diagnose if it isn't working correctly.

Plus, two walbro's will be tapped out before a stock pump and a big external would be...If you run triple Walbro's you just have triple the worry.

Nothing against the setup by anymeans. RSI and Ragin Racing have made very quality looking hats from what I can tell. I applaud the ingenuity.

On the flip side, I have run dual Walbro's in another application besides an LS vehicle for years. Hence why I used it here.

Hope it helps someone.

I run twin walboro gs342 pumps in tank with the check valves punched. I run twin -6an lines which feed each rail, and the stock return line. I know RSI makes a sweet billet hanger, but I got a killer deal on a used APS hanger which I couldnt refuse. The hardest part is actually dropping the tank and getting the stock sending unit out

I use a Racetronix double pumper harness with 4psi pressure activation switch for the second pump to come on under boost. This helps to keep you from heating up the fuel. I am loosing about 3-4psi fuel pressure up top making 900hp. I plan to put a boost-a-pump on the second pump soon.

Twin Fuel Feed Lines, plus fuel return adapter line :
