Default Forced Induction engine reliability list

I saw this on anther forum and felt it would be good information to start gathering here. How many times do we see threads every week of people asking what power level is safe, how much boost to run on X setup etc.

This will be a two part post, one section for stock bottom end forced induction engines, and built forced induction engines.
(Please specify any internal engine modifications done that may help reinforce the engine. IE: Heads were ported, were valved done? Cam was installed, were springs, or retainers? Etc...)

Format for post:
- Type of forced induction (Turbo, supercharger, nitrous, and what type of turbo(s) and blower where applicable)
- PSI of boost you're running, or shot size with nitrous
- RWHP/ RWTQ
- What engine? (LS2/LS3/LS7) If built and different, what engine?
- Miles on the car at install (Or since engine was built?)
- Miles on the car now (If engine was hurt, and re-built - mileage of when the incident occurred)
- If the engine was hurt, what failed?
- Type of fuel (93 pump, meth, race gas etc.)
- Transmission (A4, A6, M6 etc..)
- Degrees of timing
- Mod list (Won't be listed, but users can see individual posts)
- How do you use your car? Street use only, show car, track car, autocross car etc. To find out how well these builds are working it's best to see how hard people are on their cars. Another words how are you "using" your new found power? (This won't be listed, but it will be good information for users to read to see how "hard" cars are being ran)

As time progresses please update your information on current mileage if it's enough worth noting, if anything fails etc. etc. Feedback is welcomed, this is for everyone not just me so please be involved in this thread. If you feel more information needs to be included in this initial post just let me know, or if you have any suggestions on how to format the post etc.

Admin: Is is possible to edit the thread name to "Forced induction engine reliability list"? and maybe a sticky?

Thanks, I changed it from boost only to forced induction in general.

The biggest question on longevity is how hard do you run your car?? 600-700-800whp could last for years depending on how you use it..

, I'm hoping we can get some discussions going. We have good data collected to get more in depth per individual to see what is working and who is really "using" their power. I figured people could also PM people on their builds etc. down the line if anyone had questions for anyone.

But you brought up a good point so I will edit the first post to see if we can't get some more information posted with their setup on how they use their cars.

Personally I use mine mainly on the street, some track time a couple times a year but not big into the track. I don't have 10k hard miles but they aren't exactly babied either
