ZR1 Map Sensor Issues
- When the MAP sensor reads towards the upper limit the ECM thinks something is wrong and "fails" the sensor which then stops the boost gauge from working on a ZR1, etc. As some have said the fix for this is to just disable the high map code P0108 and set the map high voltage test to disable.
- The LSA/LS9 map sensors DO actually fail at higher pressures on some of these blower setups. I've seen somebody go through several of them over the course of a month, they are not very resilient at higher pressures and higher temperatures and I would just put a higher quality stainless sensor in it's place. Use something like an AEM 3.5 bar map sensor or a Rife 3 bar map. This will NOT allow you to read over 255 kPa, but it's not going to fail.
