Wow! For that much more than the Batmobile, you could have had a Mag Red Vert!

No, seriously, the reason I asked was I was wondering the total performance mods cost. You did your excellent job in a piece-by-piece fashion. If you take the approx $8000 of that that accounts for performance mods, put it in one place, you'd probably end up with the same package.

I was really wondering how it compared to a SC in price.

See 'ya tomorrow!

Damn you Jeff! I saw your car at towers last night and it was simply awesome. We have similar tastes ! Now I'm contemplating getting cam/heads and LG long tubes. If I go about doing it i'll end up doing it all myself just for the experience. Watch me lose my warranty, uh oh! Keep up the great work on your car bud, it's an amazing machine.

Thanks, appreciate the kind words. Almost done, waiting for the B&M short shifter to arrive, then I think I'm done (yeah, right ).

Good luck with your vette, they are fun, but they do drain the wallet.

Current Setup: 05C6, 6sp, Z51 with Dynatech SuperMAXX headers/hiflow cats, Halltech Stinger, Corsa Sports, 160 degree thermostat and tuned.

Statement: I would like to, as my next mod, add heads and cam to increase my rwhp which now sits at 355.3 after tuning (remember, no flaming).

Question: What setup would you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Jeff
rhp seems low for your existing mods...double check b4 you go onward to greener pastures, something is askew.

Hey Jeff, I think you'll like the B&M. It really does make for short throws but i'll be honest it vibrates when i'm accelerating quickly. I'm sure there's a way to cure the vibration but i'm just noting it beforehand. Just some heads up, there's a very slight possibility it's just my unit or I installed something incorrectly. Anyhow just ask around about the B&M, I don't mind the vibration though so I haven't gotten around to fixing it, it's only when i'm accelerating hard in the high rpm band. I heard the Callaway shifter is of better quality from Steve Germany but of course that's subjective. I've also heard good things about the breathless. Callaway requires the use of a different **** though so i'm sure that might effect the choice. Anyhow good luck with you rdecision.

Heard the same thing about the vibrations. However the new version, still on back order, has resolved this issue. Looked at the Callaway, but hated the shift ****. I bought a aftermarket shift **** that actually lowers the height of the shifter by 1.5", feels great.

Tavarez, thanks for the info, looking forward to seeing you again and hearing good things about your upcoming mods.
