Default Brake bleeding question for Z06 package on C6

OK, my Z06, big brake package is here and I hope to install it tomorrow! This is my first car with active handling and traction control. Is there any special instructions/hints on bleeding the brakes, or do they bleed like any other hydralic brake system? Thanks

I was told, by the supporting dealer that sold me the package, that the C6 and the Z06 brake lines had the same part numbers, so I'm assuming I can use the ones currently on the car. Am I wrong?

Bump. Someone please clear this up. I do not want to begin the install until I'm sure on the brake lines (stock, F55) being compatable with the Z06's capilers and rotors. Thanks

Due to the comments from previous folks here that installed the calipers - I never even tried the stock lines.

They didn't "appear" like they would fit up correctly, due to the angle of the banjo fitting.

The OTHER (and more important) part of this equation is: after spending $1,600 on a brake upgrade, why WOULDN'T you want to further enhance the characteristics of it by adding upgraded SS lines?

While I'm very happy with my C6/Z06 brake setup, I probably would have been as happy (had it not been available) by upgrading the lines on my Z51 setup. I really couldn't tell how much difference in brake performance was from the calipers, or from the lines. The pedal is definately noticably more solid - and this is from the lines, not the calipers.

So, even if you could make the stock lines work - I'd recommend the SS line upgrade anyway.

I just put the whole setup on my car and the factory lines WILL NOT WORK

The Banjo bolts have the wrong angle to them and they are not long enough
Look at the orentation of the hole on the sandard caliper then the z06 and you will see what i mean !
I bought the stop tech lines for $160 and they work perfect !
Just like Sicrick said the lines are worth the upgrade !
You will need a STUBBY 1/2 wrench to change out the lines and alot of patience
Also what rims are your running ?
These monsters will NOT clear the factory rims at all !
This is not a simple upgrade

Any questions feel free to pm me i will help you all i can !

Here are some pics for you

Thanks guys. I will postpone the install until I get new lines. I was going to use the stockers just for a temporary fix, as I could not find a vendor that had the Z06 lines in stock, plus the dealer told me that the C6 and Z06 lines had the same part numbers, so I thought they'd work. I have the 9.5 x 18 and 11 x 19 Z07 wheels and they're suppose to work with this brake package. Thanks for the help.
