Weird. All of a sudden, the interior lights wont turn off. Even while driving, etc. Its in the garage now and they are still on. Yes, I did reclose doors, reclose hatch and checked to make sure the light switch is off.
I could sure use some advice before my battery drains. Anyone?
thanks, i saw this by searching firts, sorry. BTW, do you know which is on/off on the reading lights? Is button in-off or on???? I have hit them so many times now I dont know which is which.
HUH, ? On the other general, folks say in is off, and out is on,.......
In is OFF. Sounds like you accidentally hit the switch near your left knee as you were getting into or out of the car. That same button that dims or brightens the dash lights when twisted, is also used to turn on/off the interior lights by pressing it.

I can't believe how often this is mentioned.
Have they at least improved on this little option for '07?
I can't believe you guys are hitting that switch with your knees. I'm 6 feet tall, and my knee never comes within 6 inches of that switch. Are you guys with the problem extremely long legged? Are you not using the easy exit feature of the car?

I'm 6'1" and my knee doesn't come close to the switch. I have read about the problem many times but that seem's to be the answer.
Okay guys, I think I'm confused. Is this the 367th, or 368th post from someone this has happened to?
Seriously, this has happened to so many C6 owners that once again, GM should fire someone for such a crummy design flaw.
LOL... Took me like an hour to get this one solved...finally did and felt like a dumb ***... but now I have the knowleged and power over the interior lights. I am a new man.

Well, it looks as though I am to blame.
I installed my Valentine using the invisicord to attach to power at rear of mirror. When I reseated the pins into the sockets the lights started working correctly. I must have been crossing the current and therefore cauing the map lights to remain on.
