I'd recommend a dyno tune when you have all mods done.

Do you have a catback yet?

Headers sound EVIL combined with Corsa Sports

I would definitely recommend a 160 stat and a tune, I am having my headers, stat, and tune done on Tuesday.

If you don't already have an air intake throw one of them on also.

Then we can take em to ATCO!

Zig is right.

It is a beautiful Saturday morning.

I am heading out to take a cruise to Peddlers Village and back, just for the fun of it.

Air cleaners area a waste of money-no gain, but you can free up the air on the other side of the cylinder with a FAST manifold.

A tune will get you more than the headers did.

Enjoy them!

Thinking of more? You're only limited by your desire, preferences and by how much you want to spend.

A couple simple suggestions would be to mate your headers to an after-market cat-back exhaust (I personally recommend Corsa Sports) and/or add cold air induction.

I prefer modding for performance rather than for just looks. Once you've done all you want with one....you start on the other. It's a common affliction with many forum members. If it gets too bad...if you become a certified Modoholic I believe there is a Modoholic's Anonymous hotline you can call....#1-800-MOD-STOP.

I have the Blackwing, Rt 66's and the headers. I didn't do a baseline check on HP but everybody knows what a stock A6 is like.

Will a tune make it that much better. It was already a mean machine.

After Tuesday when I get the headers, 160 stat, and tune you will have to check it out and decide for yourself.

A tune can't hurt, that's for sure

East Coast Supercharging.

They are right off Exit 7A of the Jersey Turnpike.

Only about an hour from NE Philly.

Cartek and Vette Doctors are also GREAT, but quite a bit farther (another 45 minutes to 1&1/2 hours) from us.

Just finished the test drive, burnoff of the new headers. Everything seem to be intact. Too much traffic to see any difference. This car is tremendous!!!!!!

I don't know what a tune will do, but I might not be able to drive it after that. I might just be toooooo much car for me.

The sound is not overbearing, but just about what I was lookiing for. I don't even know what drone is. I thought you change exhaust so you could hear it.

Capt, get a tune, it's well worth the money. The headers change the AF ratio. The tune will get it back where it's suppose to be, delete the TM, and improve the shifting, among others. It "wakes up" the car. Also, Have them change the fan settings, then get a 160 thermostat.

Capt -

Nice talking to you today.

I'll let you know my opinions on the Tune and headers on Tuesday and I'll also find out a price on a tune.

Should I also have them include a 160 thermostat in their quote???

Hey Howard,

Most of the tuners require the lower stat. Let us know how you make out
