Default Differential Capacity

Any know how much lube is needed in a 2006 A6 differential? GM oil and additive or should I use another companies? My front end is starting to plow when turning slowly and I have the magical 15K miles. My C4 made a snapping noise when turning, but this one must have the plates locked up.

Thanks, I couldn't find it in the owners manual. I bought a 4 0z. bottle, I hope that will be enough.

I switched to Royal Purple in the rear. It already contains the Posi-fluid. However, I added the 4 oz. Gm fluid just to be safe. About 10,000 miles and all is well. I guess more is better than less in this situation.

Yes mine is an 05. Why should GM make the 06 and 07 needing more fluid? Seems GM is trying to solve the rear end clutch problem that some C6 owners are having by adding more fluid. Wonder if they are going to sell the additive in 5 oz containers.
