A chipped SL600, is enough to be right with a SL65. Check out MBworld.com

I have not seen many C6's run, but I have seen stock ones usually in the high 12's @109-111. And stock C5 Z06's in the mid 12's @114ish.

Though last time I was there, there was a 05 C6 M6, with full exhaust, intake, cam and tune. He was running well into the 11's @ 120+

It would take some serious mods to out run a modded SL600. But who cares its a tank....I have driven an SL55 and it doesn't even come close to the thrill of driving base C6.

do tell more. Mph? Exact mods.

I am trying to get convinced to buy a C6 over a C5 Z06.

I prefer C6 but the times listed in the sticky makes me wonder.

That's what I mean, the SL600 will be trapping 120+ modded.

Do you think the TM plays a roll at all?

the tm is what makes c6 slow. mph means nothing et wins the race. if i spin on the start et sows mph goes up

I remember reading an article where they cracked the PCM to get rid of the TM? Did I read it wrong or???

MPH does matter, especially shows the faster car on the top end.

What is your best trap?

True but it doesn't show just how much that extra 900+ pounds hurts it's ET.
Even if it traps higher doesn't mean it will win the race, 115mph cars beat 120mph cars all of the time (traction, weight, driver error etc.) at the track.

I think he's been 118+ a couple of times which is downright insane for a bolt ons only (and not even full bolt ons yet either) automatic with stock gears...that's almost a manual with bolt on type trap speed.
