Default Electrical tech question???

I replaced my LS2 with a LS7 w/drysump & engine harness. I no longer have the engine oil level switch or wire connector that went to the oil pan. I am getting the DTC "Check Oil Level" and I cannot make it go away even with HP Tuners software disable. I believe the fuse box is the problem because the wiring still exists going to the ECM but not to the motor. I need to know what wires it is and what I need to do to be able to stop the message from showing up. Please help...it is really driving me nuts. Thanks,
--glenn

I read about a guy in Florida that put an LS7 in a vert. He wound up having to use the Z06 ECM and BCM to make everything work. He was a Chevy dealer too....

Everything works great, the computers are the same...just different engine harness and tune. I just have the stupid DTC I can't get rid of...I am hoping someone can tell me how I can trick the computer to turn it off. I put 600 miles on it already!

The switch goes open circuit when its low on oil. Just short the two wires together and the idiot lite should go off.

I have the service manual, maybe I can help. Do I understand correctly that you put a different harness on the car?

BTW, I just sent you a PM about something else.

Why not just use the "LS2" sensor in the dry sump tank?

The LS7 uses a different engine harness...they are almost identical except for just a couple of differences...one being the Oil Level plug is no longer part of the harness.

It won't work...and it no longer is on my car...it was on the old harness.
