you are not going anywhere, i hear you do all your own work any ways. the only way to go if you want things done right in my book.
You said a mouthful with that.
Starting with the stealerships that treat our vehicles like there used Yugo's and then this translates to the other shops as most of them hire the same bodies to do the work that have no respect for other peoples property.

Most of the time I do, but I'm getting old! I had AZ Dynochip do the last clutch in my Camaro. It comes down to pain versus money and lately money has been winning out.
What was done was the left axel gasket was replaced and I was charged for the repair. So to recap:
I paid for the Factory Brand New Differential, from XMS
I paid for the install of the Factory Brand New Differential, to XMS.
And then when the left axel gasket started leaking within the breakin in period.
I had to pay to have the left axel gasket replaced, at XMS.
What is your warranty?
Again, Sir I just state: caveat emptor
I am sorry that you had a bad experience with dave but you can ask anyone who comes in here that we do not handle things this way. So again I am sorry but its sort of not fair to me that you are so angry or bitter towards me about something that I had nothing to do with and now 1 person I can tell doesn't want to bring his car here. Its too bad that you had the experience you had but I can assure you that you were one of VERY few people that something like that happened too and if you do consider doing more work to your car I would hope that you could give us a chance so we can show you that we aren't as bad of people as you think we are.

If you had a lift it sure makes the work a lot easier!

Jason,
I am not bitter or angry, I have been factual and concise.
The issue is with the owner (Dave) that can override anything that you or Darrell do or say.
I have no issues with either one of you. If either one of you worked someplace else or owned your own shop there would not be this conversation.
Let me know when Dave is 100% divested of XMS and I might consider your services. However, in the mean time:
Jeez Jason, you were doing fine until you got personal.
Now I would have to reconsider my previous statement about working with you if you worked someplace else or owned your own shop.
Do you sign every post with buyer beware or just these?
I might consider adding it to my avitar / signature now that you brought it up. Thanks for the idea! What are your thoughts on this?
caveat emptor

Jason,
I like a joke also may have read into it to far. Has to do with my employment.
The 3 Goldberg brothers, Norman, Hiram, and Maxwell invented and
developed the first automobile air-conditioner.
On July 17th, 1946, the temperature in Detroit was 97º.
The 3 brothers walked into old man Henry Ford's office and
sweet-talked his secretary into telling him that 3 gentlemen were there
with the most exciting innovation in the auto industry
since the electric starter.
Henry was curious and invited them into his office. They refused
and instead asked that he come out to the parking lot to their car.
They persuaded him to get into the car which was about 130º - turned
on the air-conditioner and cooled the car off immediately.
The old man got very excited and invited them back to the office, where
he offered them 3 million dollars for the patent.
The brothers refused, saying they would settle for 2 million but
they wanted the recognition by having a label "The Goldberg Air-
Conditioner" on the dashboard of each car that it
was installed in.
Now old man Ford was more than just a little bit Anti-Semitic, and
there was no way he was going to put the Goldbergs' name on 2 million
Ford cars.
They haggled back and forth for about 2 hours and finally agreed on
4 million dollars and that just their first names would be shown.
And so, even today, all Ford air-conditioners show on the controls,
the names "Norm, Hi, & Max".
There is nothing like laying on the floor for 10 hours when you are 54 years old. I can't move for the following week!
When i lived in upstate New York as a young guy, changed clutches in the driveway in the snow. Now @ also 54 years young rotating tires in driveway and I have jacks, stands and impact gets old.
The older I get the better I was, I walked to school 5 miles in 20 feet of snow uphill both ways.
