New personal best. I ran my best with 82 degrees temps (3222 DA), the track went away later in the night when it cooled off and I couldn't even hook up leaving at idle. Best ET was a hot lap, I was the first to run and I came back and nobody was in line, so I went again. By the way, my estimate is that TM delete on shifts was worth around .10 to .15 seconds.

Nice times, Gleen , glad to see that the tune(TM delete) helped out, hopefully folks with even more HP/TQ will see more gains from the deletion. Helluva good 60ft as well with worn out supercars.

Dennis, thanks for the thumbs up!
Evil, I only got the good 60 because I hot lapped and my tires were warm. I don't do a burnout, just a dry hop. The other factor was I was the first car on the track, then on my second run (my best) I was probably only the 4th run. The track had just been prepped and sprayed with VHT. My best runs are always the first, then my 60's just start getting worse. By the end of the night when there was good air, the track was pitiful!

Glenn,
Great Time ! I see that you have a ported intake...Do you feel the difference with that mod? Nice trap speed to in both the 1/8 and the 1/4 Glenn, you jumped up 10 spots.....Thats gotta feel so good!

Tony, thanks! I can't say that the ported intake did much. I had dynoed 360/360 before. I installed the ported intake over the summer. Then when I got the tune a week ago, the tuner did not do a baseline pull, he loaded on his tune and went for a drive to look at the fuel trims. After the tune was completed I made 368 torque and 365 rwhp. Some of this could have been the intake, some could have been the tune.

Congrats!! Super time! I am sure with cooler weather and better tires a 12.34 is just around the corner! btw-what is VHT?...I saw somebody spraying what looked with water back and forth on the track before it opened for racing when I was there last week. What is it and to what purpose?

My best time of the day was 12.501 at 115.07 MPH
60 foot 2.103
this is a stock car; just changed air box
If I had tires, it's probably capable of a lot faster time

I'm happy, I know it will only get better now
That's a very nice time there. Did you powershift? I was at englishtown today, however, i did not run my car.
Nice. Sorry I couldn't recall. There were several white C6s there. Did you have blacked out tail lights?
I was the asian guy in the green underarmour shirt all the way in the back of the line with Damien and his Monterey Red C6 (Next to the Orange C6Z and behind the black C6 that had nitrous).

You know, the first few times I went to the track, the supercars hated the "hotlapping" and my 60's got progressivly worse. Now that they have a few thousand miles on them, they hotlap so much better.Of course, I burn them down each time up. The sooner they burn off, the sooner I can justify buying new tires...lol.
