I'm getting Cam and Clutch done on Wednesday-already looking down the road to an intake-my question is will a retune be required if I switch to a FAST intake from the stocker?

LG has a 90mm tb available too. Comes with harness for around 500 bucks.
All results above are dyno numbers.
Weiand is coming out with a new plastic version of its LS series Cast Aluminum intake this March that may be better than the Fast intake for a stock LS2.
Yea, I figured that, and esp. since I will prob go w/a 90mm tb.

But that's what they're trying to say above, you do not need to buy an aftermarket 90mm throttle body, your car already came with one. Just mount it up to the Fast 90mm intake.
You may choose to port your stock TB though, that can help a little bit.

Yea, I guess I mis-spoke myself, I meant to say ported. I was wondering from you guys that have the FAST if you gained that much HP from the swap.
Sad, isn't it-haven't got the cam in yet and already looking at the next mod!

the new Weiand repotedly provides 15 more hp thru the midrange over the FAST per the discussion on LS1 TECH.
It's funny that he said that! His profile say's ' Tuner Shop Owner '
Nah, according to other posts he's not a shop owner, he's an independently wealthy 17 year old that owns LS2s, LS3s, Z06s and properties all over southern California yet never took a dime from his parents for any of it LOL.

Wow, they're saying that much? I've read a little bit about it over there as well and knew that it could show plenty of gains over stock but didn't know it excelled that much over the FAST in some areas. And it'll be a little cheaper too.
Nice.

Im holding off on buying the FAST till I get some dyno results on the
new wieand . Its hard to believe 15 HP/TQ over the FAST. Then we must consider the aspect of one ported unit over another. I had a thread going "Ported OEM VS Ported FAST" My tuner figures at least
10 for the fast over the oem ( BOTH PORTED ).
