BTW, the helmets E-town rents are only for 14 sec. and slower, but some of the guys hooked me up with John (Illegal) Panuzzo, who let me borrow his for the day. Jeanne Linke, who won handily, is not only a looker, but cut some real good lights. Needless to say, I had a good time. Saw Wayne Keegan turn a perfect 10.000 and a 10.002 on consecutive passes in the 10.0 comp.

Downsides were two guys with broken rears/axles and a C-5 that lost it and met the wall at 300'. Ouch!

My runs were not so good, but they were consistant. 12.21, 12.25, 12.26, and 12.25 red light on first comp. pass. I'm not sure what the DA was, as I was getting a sunburn and temp readings in the high 60's with humidity around 40%. The two close WU stations had high 50's and 70%.

Spent the last week in DC. Headed to SC and then home to AZ. Had a lot of fun and may do the east coast again next year.
Hi Tom. I saw you car run. I wish I knew it was you as I would have said hello. It must have been a fun journey for you. Come visit us anytime.
I'm setting up an index race day @ Atco on November 16th so mark it down on your calender and go for that 11 in the magic fall air.lol

Bet you're glad to be home now though.
I'm not real sure, but it seems I may be just losing power. My mph has fallen off from AZ and even more between Atco and E-town. Any chance that the computer is learning that I haven't had but only a couple of WOT times in the last 5K miles and adjusted the fuel ratio?

The times at E-town were nearly identical to the last runs in AZ, but the mph was off by 2-3 mph even though the air had to be better. OK, I'm confused now, but going home soon anyway. I'll run one more time in AZ before making anymore changes just to see if there is further deterioration.

If you feel that way, disconnect the battery for a couple of hours and the reconnect and make a couple of passes, problem fixed.

dry cool air is better then warm humid air. did you have your oil changed, how many miles on it before the run, and your car should have been faster with more miles

Well, there's one other possible explanation...that the rumor that so many seem to harp on about NJ/general Northeastern air quality offering a 'supposed' unfair racing advantage over some other climates is simply NOT TRUE?

Just kidding, you know I just had to sieze that opportunity.
Hope is all ok with your ride.

Hoxxoh,
If you send me the temp, pressure altitude, and humidity for each track I can compute the actual density altitude for you?
Also, did you have any wind. A head wind will reduce your trap speed.

Am I missing something here about oil changes? I had my first oil change just before heading to the track at Atco. The car had about 14500 miles on it then and just over 16000 at E-town the following week.
