At any rate, and other issues aside, Open Road Racing is about the most fun thing you can do with your clothes on.
Here's a frame I grabbed from my video at the last event down in TX, as I was driving along, at...................................... .oh, 165 or so. The LED sign up by the mirror is the speed trap readout for our current speed. They have one along the course at most events.
I hope some people decide to give it a try. Start in the 110 or lower class, and work up. Next race is June 21 in Wendover, UT- just West of Salt Lake City. Cruising at over 100 is really fun on these wide open roads, where you can let your Vette breathe a little.

this is something I think I want to try but having a vert means that I will never be allowed to go much over 110--right. Some defacto limits on Calif freeways are alteady 90. I agree, if possible with my vert, going 130+ legally would be a BLAST!
