thanks - I have to say I love the Vette for its versatility. Yeah mine is a RR car, but I can have fun at the 1/4 and also have fun on the street. I might not be as Fast as others, but I hold my own.

uh, what night was that? like when I just got the car running and had a break-in tune on it and shouldn't have hit the gas period? If it were a serious run real tires would have been on the car anyway. Was more of an excuse to get the car out that night and get miles on it with a destination vs. driving around aimlessly.

Its cool though I expect braciole to run away with his tail between his legs at this point. my floormats and strawberry air freshener must be too scary..

Man, this thread is a great read after last night. We had a great "see ya soon" dinner last night for Spin. It was a ton of fun, you can only imagine the constant ribbing with Cameron, Ed (C6Dvl), Guy and Chuck Cow all at the same table after a few drinks...

I cant wait for the new "Wheel of Excuses".

Poor Cameron was taking many jabs - when that engine is done, he's gonna be like a gunslinger looking for the OK Corral. It was all in fun buddy, you were a great sport.

I even got to drive Ed's car last night to feel the Textrailia clutch...I've always know that a good part of Dvl's races were due to his driving talent but I have to say - my hat is off to the ECS crew on the engine - that car pulls like a Tomahawk missile Just ask the kind and generous SCPD that got to meet Ed and Guy in person last night

And Chuck's rear and clutch install is quiet, smooth and the perfect match for the power.

It was also very, very nice to hear so many kind words swapped on all sides of the table about Chuck CoW and ECS, it's good to see the mutual respect again and to be able to be close enough to have access to so many talented tuner shops here in the NorthEast.

a race is a race, a loss is a loss, for fun or money, an excuse for losing or getting the car out is an excuse. simple fact is a chase is a race, if you didn't think you would have won you wouldn't have chased

Oh man, I just caught this thread now. too funny!

It's like he came to a new school and picked on the kid who's a third degree black belt. Oh wait, since you have had, or still have, small NA, big NA, TT, and now an SC Vette, does that make you a forth degree?

Either way though, anything can happen in racing, so no one can ever be ruled out!

OP, sorry for the thread going OT, Trick Flow heads are the ticket IMO for most builds.

um.....I wasn't aware we even lined up...

you sure you're not thinking of john with the sts Z06? because I barely got on the car except for once all by myself and had everyone in awe how at half throttle it was skating across lanes. Spin even hooked up with us later that night.

He's here for another week or so, we just thought with his schedule last night was the easiest.

Let me tell you at how impressed I was driving Ed's car last night. That cam you guys put in makes some nasty power right from 1500 to stratosphere. And one heck of a tune to boot from what I could only guess was big lift numbers .There was indeed kind words exchanged between Chuck cow, C6DVL myself, craigster05 and gang.* Great night .

I dont mind my friends breakin em for me, I actually enjoy it! But people that dont know me and never spoke 2 words to me, taking a poke at me 3 different times? That's uncalled for.
I dont even know you? What did you think my reaction would be?
I beat spins ears off a couple times a week asking questions and listening to everything he says. Im a hard headed Italian I sometimes learn the hard way but at least I can admit it.
Spin isn't the only guy I speak with on a regular basis. there are many others. Im on this everyday reading to learn and posting to help someone else hopefully down the line.
Ive been racing a long time myself. I still need to learn some more about the C6. I can easily hold my own.
I would still like to race you whether you (undertaker) are faster or not. Talking to people you dont know the way you talked to me is not a good way to make friends.
In this sport you can never have too many friends.
Anyone have a track day coming up???
If you want to race this week, no bottle, fine or we can wait until
My car comes back from Cartek.
If your faster than me and have a street car DD Ill gladly shake your
hand and say congrats.
I wont be easy to beat after the car comes back from Cartek.
They dont have one of the best reps in the business if not the best for nothing. If we would have met under better surcomstances
We probably would have been good friends.

undertaker,
Sound like the excuses your gonna tell everyone after we race!
LOL! LOL! I hope you do have a supercharger on your car!
S/C dont do well at the track IMO. They are pretty good at 80 to 180 but I dont know many guys that race like that. Im a 0-140
guy myself. Ill say a pray for you.
This is no joke and no back peddling I want to race you.
I hope I made myself clear. Maybe you should upgrade to the strawberry shortcake air freshener Maybe she can show you how to drive??? LOL!
