418 LS3 stroker
I am putting the final touches on a LS3 stroker long block for a customer. The rods are hitting the windage tray, what have people done to the windage tray to make it fit. I tried shimming it up, but then the tray hits the oil pan, plus the oil pump pick it is too close to the bottom of the pan. Does anyone know if the LS7 tray will work in a LS3, it looks very similar in the manuals drawing......I dread the idea of bashing it with a hammer, that just isn't my style.
