Does a good aggressive alignment cure twitchyness?
Being a cheap *** and not wanting to spend $ on coilovers I thought I would see what results 2008 C6 Z06 owners have had with a good aggressive alignment to help cure the twitchy-ness
I don't care about tire wear that much... I can flip the tires on the wheels, etc... to keep it to a minimum....
I have heard good things about the aftermarket coilovers but I thought I would keep the car stock if possible.

"Aggressive" alignments usually increase twitchiness. But I'm sure there are things that could be done; talk to the track guys for the magic formula.
You can also install replacement shocks pretty cheaply.

Not if your Z06 has the OEM GY Supercars. They're asymmetric.

My C5 Z06 tramlined *really bad* (tramlining = a car's tendency to follow grooves and drips in the road surface). It was so bad that at over 100MPH I had to hold on to the steering wheel very tightly. Most of that is due to the fact that it runs wider tires, particularly up front (265F 295R).
My C6 Z-51 has always handled very well, no matter what tires and alignment (running stock sized tires though; 245F 285R). Right now I have it aligned as per the Z51 specs and it is just perfect for me. It was good enough for my 1st place at the Corvettes of Carlisle Autocross
As our is used mostly for back-road and 4-lane travel, I just had ours aligned to basically -0.40 Camber front and 0.06 Toe (Both Front and Rear with 8.0 Caster....
"Twitchyness" (same term I used to others) is very much improved over stock which was about -1.1 / 0.10 / 8.0. I don't know what the tire wear result will be but hoping for less inner front distress.
Get your car aligned to the exact stock specs. Just about everybody who has checked their 08's soon after delivery has found the toe setting to be out of spec. Mine was twitchy when i first got it, once I had it perfectly aligned it was much better. Most track alignments will make the car twitchier.
