C6Dvl's Cam only from ECS did astonishingly well. First Cam only to hit 10.6 in the 1/4. ECS was the first. I'll try and find the video, and the dyno chart.

The 10.6's was WITH the addition of TEA ported CNC LS3 heads. Cam only it went 10.8's.

We've cammed several LS3s and L92 combos. Here's a couple LS3s. They were both header cars before. Both had gains around 60 rwhp just from the cam/springs/pushrods/ud pulley. The first graph is the milder of the two. It is surprisingly mild for the gains it made. It made nice gains everywhere. This car owner has since dynoed well over 470 two different times, on two other dynojets. I'll see if I can get him to chime in here.

That's a good looking graph for a daily driver. Gains all along the curve.

What idle speed are you using with it?

That first one idles at 700 rpm, IIRC.

Ed, I am going to have to BUG you for the specs on this cam. Funny that in the first graphic the cam is milder, in comparison to the later graph, but the TQ curve is a lot nicer and rises at an earlier RPM. It is better under the curve.

Or at least overlap at .05 and intake duration.

Actually milder cams often do that. Less overlap can improve low end torque because the mixture is a little less polluted. Some milder cams use earlier IVC which increases SCR and helps the low end. This cam peaks pretty high (looks like it might pull to 6800) so I tend to doubt the IVC is real early.

Ah, grasshoppa. You know the way of the camshaft fairly well. Don't over estimate your powa though. IVC is much earlier than one would think. [insert Chinaman smilie here] LOL

I wouldn't be too surprised.

I put a cam with an IVC = 35 that had great low end in my LS1. This was on stock exhaust manifolds too. It shift nicely at 6400, which did surprise me since going in I thought it would peak early and be dead by 6200.

Master, I shall mediate upon your words.
