Hard to tell exactly, but it does look as low as my car.

Not that stock height won't have the same effect... I just can't stand when I scrape, so I don't foresee me ever going any lower than stock.

Toyo R888's are your best option then. It's an R compound tire that will hold better than the Invo and available in the same sizes.

305/30-19 is the size in the topic of this thread and the size that everyone is using with no problems. They don't buldge that bad at all. There are threads with pics floating around.

I only have about 480 to the wheels. Would you guys recommend the Invos or the R888's for my application. Also, are 305's the best size to go with on stock rims or should I downside to 295's (I thought I read some place that although the 305's will fit a 10 inch rim 295's would provide for better traction...something about the contact patch being different). Looking for maximum traction in a straight line. Thanks in advance!

Maximum traction = R888 305/30-19
Less traction, more treadware = Invo 305/30-19

The Toyo is an R compound tire similar to a drag radial without the soft sidewall. It won't be good in the rain although still drivable. Whether you need that much traction or not is up to you.

Will the Invo's help my spinning or will I just blow the tires away again?

The Invo tires are a very similar rubber compound to the run flats Z-51 cars come equipped with and should provide slightly more traction. If you are close to hooking up with run flats, the Invos will do the trick.

But I don't think that is the case. If you really don't want to run R-Compounds don't... You'll just have to feather the gas and not hook up untill you are in 3rd gear; a lot of people are OK with that.

Wheelhop will break sh*t. The best way to cause wheelhop is to get a tire that breaks traction easily.
There are not too many tires out there that can hook up hard enough to break driveline parts, and the R888 is definitely not one of them. Search around; 90% of driveline failures on this forum are due to wheelhop.

OK, I just drove 150 miles of PURE BLISS! GM if your reading this forum....dudes pull your cranium out of your rectum and figure out how to put a spare in the che'vette!

IF a c-6 is a 8.5 with the f1 supercars on them the same car is a 9.765!!!!

let's see, turn in is better!

NVH is reduced by 30%!!!!!! When you roll over a sppedbump you can tell the differance!

The roof creaks less, the car feels like it's a differant car.

for the naysayers, here's my credentials. I've raced 100 mph karts for 5 years, 60 mph karts for 2 years, I've driven20 differant track weekends in Mustangs, che'vettes as s2000's , and have driven over 175 in a Gembala Turbo'ed Porsche.

The RE-11 tire makes the Corvette so much nicer to drive.

Just curious as to why you went with the 265/35/18 on the front and didn't stay with the stock 245/40/18. My car is not lowered and I'm not planning on doing it. I'm afraid if I go with the lower profile tire in the front it will look stupid, too much fender gap or would the 245/40/18 and 305/30/19 combo look worse???

I've read here on the forum that member have recomended increasing the fronts about the same amount as the rears. Supposed to keep the handling in sync. Maybe someone will chime in. As for myself I have 275/325 on LG wheels. 18x10 & 19x11.
