I 06 had the foam fix in the past just before they started replacing with new roofs.
I got the roof and steering wheel recall about a month ago, called my dealer, and even though nothing was wrong with the foamed roof, they replaced it within a week. The steering wheel was ok but they attached a clip anyway and when I got the Monterey Red Metallic roof back I was very happy with the paint job. No problems at all.
