Default Dyno Game.. headers LS2

Well guys i should be getting new headers on tomorrow.

I have an LS2.

Halltech Venom Intake with holes in the shroud.
Corsa Extreme Exhaust.
ASP UD Pulley (only have it because of the stock one crapping out, didn't have to pay for labor though )

I am going to put on the LG Pro 1 3/4 Headers tomorrow.

Any guesses at final numbers?

Well to add, this was a different dyno mind you, when i had it tuned before with just exhaust and intake i had 357 at the wheels SAE. It was 379 but it was cold in Feb like 40 outside.

See if that changes anyones ideas. I should know tomorrow try to post before and after dyno shots as well.

We will get you a before and after same day so we can compare on the same dyno.

Generally speaking I see 380-390 or so at the rear tires on average from the LS2 cars.

My 2006 did 383rwhp / 383rwtq with the headers, tune and no other changes not even an air box.

3" Borla and Halltech put me at 392/394...added a FAST 90mm intake 402/410.

Starting on my car was 357/348

My guess is that with the LG's and re-tune you'll add 28 to your 357 and get to 385. I hope that it's more. Good luck!

Ended up at about 370 each, don't have it in front of me to be exact as the printer wasn't working.

Baseline was 358, now just FYI i did have a previous tune so some power was there already.

I think top HP was 373 and torque was 369, but under the curve there was a max of 30HP and tq gained in the mid range.

Also learned where the LS2 falls short on the heads and airflow on the top end. Later on thats my next big one is heads and a cam and the FAST 102 to put it around 450 i would hope. Much later on but gotta have something to shoot for next.

Either way it sounds SICK and ill enjoy the midrange gain during my HPDEs.!

Man,

My numbers are horrible. I had 315 on a mustang dyno w/ a stock c6 plus b&b headers, corsa x, and b&b bullets w/ no tune. Think there is something wrong...

A mustang dyno is going to read much, much lower than a dynapack. Traditionally, a dynapack is the highest reading dyno and a mustang dyno is the lowest...

To the OP: seems like 386.7 peak hp would be good.

Maybe, maybe not. That is why you need to base line if you are in un chartered dyno country.

Mustangs may show up to a 30% drive-line loss, it doesn't matter if you know the gains & losses.

What were your dyno operator comments?

What are the numbers form previous cars like yours on that dyno?

Here is a You Tube test where the Dynojet numbers came in more than the Dynapack.

The heads are not your restriction yet, they can support up to 500 rwhp. Your LS2 intake manifold would be your biggest limitation.

On the LS2----Heads would get you MORE gain than a different intake manifold---don't you think ??!!
