I regretted the Corsas on my cammed C6Z with headers, but for a different reason. The drone was unbearable; BTW the no drone guarantee doesn't apply if you have headers. I was told this AFTER Corsa mounted them at Carlisle and clearly noticed my headers.
I just looked up "Zoomers". They seem to be basically straight pipes (almost). How did you hear the "sucking" sound from the K & N???
I'm not the only one that has heard the sucking from the K&N. It was reported on the forum by others. Zoomers come from an Irvine company that is close to me. They were fairly popular on the forum for awhile but the drone was just too much.

Weird! I have a K & N on my LS2. I just fired it up to pay closeer attention.... No sucking sound. Did you put back the stock intake?
I regret my Vararam CAI....makes HP but you have to watch it all the time to be sure seals are in place, would never put one on a 50K car again... Changing to Callaway CAI this Spring.
Not what I wanted to read in here!! Ive got a use one sitting here waiting to be installed, noticed the seal that connects the 2 pieces seems a little warped, guess this is what ur talking about?? Can you buy a replacement thru Vararam or any DIY seals out there?

Thanks for the tips... I subscribed to the thread for when I install in a month or so... May just do the steel even if not warped, just to prevent it!!
Darton liners installed in a an LS7. I just "had to have" a 454 LS7. The installer resleaved my block with M.I.D. liners at no charge after one of the original sleaves dropped .001" but the $2K R&R ( no 2 post lift) and the tension with the significant other was NOT worth it!
I now make MORE torque and with in 1 hp of the resleaved 454 LS7 with my 427 cu in ( GM block) , Fast 102, LPE top end LS7 and could not be happier.
As for the rest of my mods..I would not change a thing...other than the coilovers....

The VR requires more maintenance, but due to the performance increase, it's one of my best mods.
I've learned to watch for my limits on NVH when doing mods and like the piecemeal approach that keeps the car feeling new, BUT when I tally it up I often wonder if I should have bit the bullet up front and put a blower on and have been done.
I do think I would get 18" rims on the back if I were doing wheels again. Being able to run 555RII out back would be nice.
Are you Sounds sweet man! Id be curious to hear a drive by under load and another WOT! but from what I can tell that sound like it'd the neighborhood kids!
Also curious what kind of setup your using to get an outside mic and where you have it mounted??
I've got the zo6 mufflers i took off , so i'm going to give the muffler modification trick a shot , If not satisfied with that , I will move on to the fusions.
Let me know if I can answer any questions on the Fusion for you. www.bbexhaust.com

Chris
Outside mic was wrapped in foam ( to reduce wind noise ) and tucked in behind the rear bumper cover above the center of both exhaust cans.
Cord was run up ouside rear bumper cover and into hatch and up to mic input of camera on my dash.
When someones available to record me , I'll do a drive by.
