I have an 05 C6, its got 30K miles on it, runs great, i found a mechanic that works on C5's and want him to perform some maintenance on my car, seeing as the car is almost 6 years old and has 30k on it i was planning to do the following:
1. Coolant Flush and Fill
2. Rear Diff Flush and Fill
3. Replace Spark Plugs
4. Oil Change
Can any one recommend any other preventative maintenance?
If you haven't done it already, NEW BRAKE FLUID. Should generally be done every 2 years anyway.
If it's a manual trans, if you don't do it regularly, NEW CLUTCH FLUID.
Might want to use caution on the coolant "flush". A few reports of problems arising. Try not to "back flow flush", flush in the normal direction of flow and be careful of too much pressure. Just sayin', be careful.
I personally don't think your plugs need changing. I think it would be a waste of $$$. I don't see anything wrong with the rest of your maintenance.
Spark plugs don't expire like fluids can. You have at least 50k more miles before I'd worry about changing them. Feel free to make sure they are properly gapped any time though.

a. Brake Fluid Flush and Fill
b. Manual Transmission/Clutch Fluid Flush and Fill
will be added to the list,
i just threw in the plugs there as they don't cost much and not hard to swap out.

Absolutely. I just did all the maintenance on my Mazda and saved over a thousand dollars
As to what else to do.. Is it a Z51 car? If so then the rear endlinks could use some grease. Also check the accessory belt to make sure it is still good.
I just flushed the coolant, changed trans fluid, and diff fluid. Having ECS do the clutch fluid and brake fluid flush. My 2005 has 40k miles. Trans shifts nicer now, and coolant is recommended to be changed every 5 years, I believe, per the manual.
