My research has just begun and I am new to the forum so please forgive me if someone has made a similar post. By years end my plan is to acquire a 6 speed GS coupe with a goal of 650-675HP either by supercharger or turbo. The first question I have is, can I achieve this HP gain without changing factory hood? I truly want to keep the exterior looking as factory as possible. Thank you all in advance for the insight!

Absolutely. Personally I would go with either a twin turbo or a centrifugal supercharger which fits beautifully under the stock hood and even the latest 'top mount' blowers (unlike some from the past) clear the stock hood as well. Might need a blower cam as well to achieve that power level safely though.

For the record, ALL Corvettes are 6 speeds now...I think you meant 6 speed manual.

Might want to hang out in the C6 Forced Induction Forum, read what's going on, ask questions as needed and join the discussions. Just sayin'. Best of luck.
